Ama sii anjok

The new BC Housing Apartments are now complete and nearly fully occupied. This project was initiated to serve seniors and families in the Upper Skeena. It is managed by the Wrinch Memorial Foundation Society (WMF) and is located at 2720 Highway 62, across from the Hazelton High School and the new Upper Skeena Recreation Centre. 

As a fully funded BC Housing project, the application process uses their forms and complies with BC Housing requirements. See the Apply tab for links to applications.

This building has three apartment types: 1, 2 and 3 bedroom - 31 units in total - and there are three categories of rent structure: Deep Subsidy, Rent Geared to Income (RGI), and Market Rate. If the applicant’s annual family income exceeds the Deep Subsidy or RGI set levels, they would still be eligible to apply for the Market Rate accommodation or Rent Geared to Income.

Apartments are finished to the same good standard. There are a number of accessible units. Shared amenities include a modest multipurpose room, indoor bike storage and a laundry room. The grounds are landscaped with a playground to the south. All units are equipped with standard kitchen appliances, with larger units and accessible units also including washers and dryers.
